ST Engineering Antycip requires a Systems Engineer to work at the European level. This is a new and exciting team being formed to help the company increase the synergy between each office and develop the company’s capabilities to support train and deliver services against COTS software. This will be a supporting role to our existing teams in France Italy and UK which are working with exciting and high-profile clients designing and delivering Simulation technologies that are often tailored to suit their specific requirements.


The role could require travel to customer sites across Europe and USA from time to time to suit the business needs.

To work together with and reporting to the European Head of Engineering in a new team being created to increase the synergy between each office and develop the company’s capabilities to support train and deliver services against COTS software  In this role will be involved with the following areas:


  • Supporting existing customer with support issues on COTS software
  • Delivering API level training to customers
  • Working with customers to define requirements.
  • Analysis of those requirements and design of the software.
  • Implementing new software extensions to the current portfolio.
  • Configuring the solution specifically for the customers use cases.
  • Interfacing with customer developed systems.
  • Involvement in delivery and acceptance testing.
  • Supporting, testing and bug fixing of delivered services work and core products

Experience, Character and Skills

  • Ability to be security cleared at NATO level
  • Experience in all stages of the software lifecycle is required
  • Strong mathematics skills and computer software/hardware knowledge would be a great asset to this position
  • Good organisational skills, with a methodical outlook for the planning and execution of the given duties and most importantly at the highest quality.
  • Previous evidence of professional software development background/knowledge is required to ensure the candidate has a good foundation prior to any specialist training, the willingness to learn new technologies is a core requirement.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and team-oriented with excellent communication skills at all levels

Highly desirable attributes:

  • Prior technical experience in the aerospace and defence industry.
  • A proven track record (2+ years) in Object orientated C++ software development (Visual Studio)
  • Knowledge in network simulation
  • A good understanding of Synthetic Environment architectures and Distributed Simulation frameworks
  • Experience with High Level Architecture (HLA) middleware tools and middleware.
  • Development of user interfaces with the Qt framework.
  • Network / Socket programming experience.
  • Development using 3D rendering engines or game engines.
  • Currently hold NATO or country specific security clearance.
  • Multi-lingual: Good spoken and written skills in more than one of the following languages: English French Italian.

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • Design, build and maintain our social media presence
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

Provide regular reporting on results to local sales teams, and with insight from those results, create and document a best practice house style for email campaigns

Experience and skills required

  • Business to business digital marketing (website maintenance & content, SEO/SEM)
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in using WordPress, MailChimp, SalesForce, Hubspot, and all social chanels
  • Creative skills and knowledge of the Adobe suite
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Positive attitude!
