TORE World-First in Virtual Reality for the University of Lille
ST Engineering Antycip, formerly known as Antycip Simulation is the European integrator of virtual reality solutions and 3D immersive rooms has recently completed the installation of the first virtual reality room of its kind in the world.
Located in La Plaine Image, France, The Open Reality Experience (TORE) takes immersive experience to new levels, providing users with the opportunity to collaboratively explore 3D environments without any viewing disruption, at 180° and with consistent user distance.
Designed, built and installed by Antycip Simulation, TORE is a one-of-a-kind, immersive tool for those who are working and conducting research in the area. The platform brings together social sciences, design and history and the digital world in a unique, innovative space which advances the capabilities of scientists and researchers at the University of Lille.
With the aim of developing 3D immersive experiences in virtual environments for breakthrough research, particularly in the field of Visual Sciences and Culture, TORE was co-financed by the ANR (PIA-Equipex IrDIVE) and the European Fund for Regional Economic Development (FEDER).
TORE’s unique characteristics lie in its screen shape, bent in all dimensions to free up users from straight edges, thus providing an unprecedented technological breakthrough compared with any other immersive systems.
TORE sits on a three-storey structure, also designed by Antycip. On the back of the screen and also rigged to the structure are 20x Christie Mirage WU7K-M WUXGA 3-Chip DLP projectors.
Content wise - in order to deal with such a large surface and multiple sources, Antycip worked closely with its partner Scalable Display Technologies to create dynamic eye-point warping and blending.

Updating The Hub for our Barco event
We are updating the Hub, our UK demo centre for the Barco Technology Experience, that we are hosting in Adderbury, UK, from 25 February to 1 March, 2019.
This will be the occasion to join us and our partner Barco and find out about the latest display and VR technologies.
Two new products will be showcased at the event:
- The new FL40 4K LED projector
- The new AudioCue sound system, a real-time 3D audio for simulation and training systems
Highlights of the AudioCue:
Audio cues always aligned with visual cues
Compatible with any IG system and simulation network
To reserve your space and to let us know what you’d like to cover, please RSVP here http://bit.ly/2IDYVNT, contact your Antycip Simulation account manager, or call our UK office on +44 (0)1869 343033. -

ISE 2013 ST Engineering Antycip, formerly known as Antycip Simulation Introduce the SlimWall
Have a quick look on our new product, the Slimwall!
For more information, do not hesitate to go on our website : http://www.antycipsimulation.com/solutions/projection-display-systems
The Slim Wall caters to both simulation and training-focused customers, as well as organisations that require high impact displays with a large pixel landscape to deliver mixed content. The beauty of the Slim Wall is the size of its display. At its heart are the ultra short-throw projectors that enable the cabinet to occupy an amazing short depth of only 0.58 metres and yet project a seamless image that spans from two to six metres wide based on its modular approach. With an equally impressive vertical image height of 2.15 metres, the display can maximise the costly floor space within an environment while offering a huge high-resolution image, all driven from a single easy-to-manage Windows-based PC. -
Latest features of Blueberry3D 3.0
Presentation of the latest features of Bionatics Blueberry3D !
Using Blueberry3D technology, very large databases can be visualised at a stable 60 Hz frame rate, while complexity and richness may adapt depending application needs and hardware capabilities. The same database can be used for both high flight, fast jet applications, or transitioned smoothly to high fidelity ground applications.
The display performance can be tuned for any PC hardware configuration, thanks to real-time parameters and procedural approach.
