We are pleased to announce that we will be having our Space and Defence Technology Conference, with our partner AGI on October 8th.

On October 8, 2020, we will open our doors and video links for our annual AGI Technology Conference, at The Hub, our UK Regional Demo Centre in Oxfordshire, UK.

This event will be divided in two sessions (see agenda below).

Nick Howes

Nick Howes

Lead R&D Space Systems, Defence & Security UK, BMT Space SI

Nick Howes was formerly Deputy Director of Kielder Observatory, Sci-Comms for ESA and ESTEC, software development for the SKA Telescope, and Pro-Am Programme Manager for the twin 2 Metre Faulkes Telescopes, helping to discover dozens of new asteroids, as well as using AGI’s STK to help find the Apollo 10 Lunar Module “Snoopy”.


Dr Jason Forshaw

Head of Future Business, Astroscale Ltd

Dr Jason Forshaw is the Head of Future Business (Europe) at Astroscale.  Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer within the global business development office, Dr Forshaw addresses all aspects of future business, including business development, growth of the sales pipeline, and developing R&D strategy for future products and services.  A recognized expert in the field of space debris, Dr Forshaw has worked on several of the world’s most pioneering missions in this domain: ESA’s SOADR studies, RemoveDebris (formerly as the Consortium Project Manager), ELSA-d (as the Licensing Manager), and the ESA Sunrise programme.


Giuseppe Corrao

Senior Systems Engineer, AGI

Being an Aerospace Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense sector, Giuseppe has a broad knowledge and understanding of many different topics:
– Space Mission Analysis & Design in any orbit regime: LEO, MEO,GEO and Interplanetary
– Design of Mission Planning System for EO satellites
– Orbit Determination for LEO, GEO and Lunar Missions
– Large-scale, real-time simulations

Giuseppe supports AGI customers in their end-to-end analysis and simulations using AGI software.


Trevor Stief

Advisory Software Developer, AGI

Trevor Stief is one of the senior software engineers at AGI specializing in the development of the Communications and Radar analysis modules. He has been with AGI for the past 16 years.  Before coming to AGI, Trevor worked in the defense and intelligence industry performing RF interference and link budget analyses for Satellite communications systems. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University.


Roberto Gemma

International Engineering Manager, AGI

Roberto is the international engineering manager for AGI, supporting also the business development activities in Europe and Scandinavia. He received his BSc in Computer Science Engineering and a Master in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Rome RomaTre. He is responsible for supporting AGI’s Business Partners and Users to help them using and leveraging AGI technology.


Alexander Ridgeway

Senior Systems Engineer, AGI

Alex Ridgeway supports space agencies, space situational awareness operators, satellite operators and defense/intelligence groups from Asia to the Pacific to Middle East and North Africa. He advises many space organizations around the planet and has been an invited speaker to many international conferences and working groups. Alex moved to Japan in 2018 to more rigorously support Japan’s Space and Defense Industry with AGI technology.


Christopher Moyer

Advisory Software Developer, AGI

Christopher Moyer is a Development Engineer/Mathematician at Analytical Graphics Inc. specializing in Radar and Communications Engineering.  Mr. Moyer is a member of the Communications and Radar development team.  He is responsible for Communications and Radar concepts, features, and ongoing development within AGI’s System Toolkit product line. His most recent work included modeling of phased array antennas, modeling windfarm interference effects on radar, and electronic warfare battlespace management.


Nate McBee

Senior Systems Engineer, AGI | Aircraft and UAS Modeling/Simulation/Analysis

Nate applies AGI’s solutions through digital engineering techniques and integrations with a growing number of strategic business partners’ tools to answer today’s most demanding systems engineering problems across the aerospace, defense, and commercial sectors. In addition, Nate is also a co-founder of OneSky Systems Inc., which successfully spun out of AGI in late 2019. Nate focused on the development of applications for commercial unmanned systems and Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) initiatives and worked closely with the software development team and the business development group to drive innovative solutions to support mission planning, safety-of-flight, and situational awareness for unmanned platforms.
Nate is an FAA licensed commercial UAS pilot and is currently working toward his private pilot’s license for general aviation aircraft.


Adam Gorski

Account Executive, AGI | Digital Mission Engineering

Adam Gorski received his Bachelor’s Degree in aeronautical and astronautical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a graduate of the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA. Adam is currently an Account Manager at AGI and has 14 years of experience supporting Digital Mission Engineering (DME) and advanced modeling and simulation (M&S) through use of Systems Tool Kit (STK). Prior to his current role, Adam managed technical teams on an international partner network supporting customers in the space, defense, and intelligence communities in their use of STK mission analysis software.
