ST Engineering Antycip and partner Diamond Visionics LLC., worked with Airbus Defence and Space to install Diamond Visionics’ GenesisIG and GenesisSN to support the Airbus Defence and Space Typhoon Engineering Simulator.

With these leading edge image generation and sensor simulation tools, Airbus Defence and Space produces hi-fidelity on the fly, out the window visuals, to support its Typhoon fighter simulations and associated military projects.

Eric Engelsman, Head of Simulation User Interfaces & Networks at Airbus Defence and Space, commented “Working with Antycip , we chose Diamond Visionics’ GenesisIG and GenesisSN for our Typhoon Dome because of one major factor, the on the fly out the window imagery construction. This capability reduces the need for costly resources dedicated to database construction, with no compromise on the high update rate needed for fighter simulations”.

David Gdovin, President and Co-Founder of Diamond Visionics, LLC said, “We welcome the opportunity to provide pilots around the world with the best visual systems they need, to train. The ability of our customers to easily drop in their own data and run it on-the-fly through GenesisIG continues to save them time and money.”

Gilbert Addi, Area Sales Manager, ST Engineering Antycip, commented “Antycip take great pride in our role as expert partners in the simulation and display industry. And this project which we fostered between Airbus Defence and Space, and Diamond Visionics, is yet another example of how we help customers get the best and the most from their simulations.”
